This event, the Growing Texas - Community & Ecological Resiliency, will be held on April, 28th 2016 at the Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley, Texas. Information for how communities can protect their trees and other natural resources by utilizing existing tools to plan for disasters, as well as case studies on restoration efforts after storm events will be shared.


The Blue Hole Regional Park is a SITES™-certified park  with a unique story of ownership by the City of Wimberley. The workshop will include a walking tour highlighting the ecological restoration and recreational opportunities of the Blue Hole Regional Park.


This full day event will include instruction, lunch, and networking opportunities with other Central Texas land managers.


Registration is open, and the early bird price until Saturday April 23th is $50.00.
